Sharon Dworkin Bell

Sharon is a principal of Dworbell, Inc., a company that manages the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association as well as the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association and publishes the Tax Credit Advisor magazine. She is Executive Director of the Council of Large Affordable Housing Owners and serves on the Affordable Housing Advisory Council for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, the Advisory Board for Greenline Ventures, an impact-focused investment management firm, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Trust for Community Housing based in Telluride, CO. Sharon was previously the Senior Vice President of Multifamily and 55+ Housing at the National Association of Home Builders.

Jerry has over 30 years of experience providing counsel on federal and state tax incentivized issues. He focuses on tax planning and structuring low-income housing tax credit, historic rehab tax credit, new markets tax credit, renewable energy, and opportunity zone transactions that maximize his client’s tax benefits and investment returns, all within the framework of the client's business goals. He has expertise in the structuring and taxation of community development investments and is a board member of the Historic Tax Credit Coalition and the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association.

Alan has more than 30 years of experience and has advised clients on low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, sale-leasebacks, new market tax credits and energy tax credits. Mr. Cohen assists clients with private equity advice in structuring multi-investor syndications, developing public-private partnerships for urban neighborhood revitalizations, creating tax-advantaged investment programs and overseeing investments for corporate treasury and tax departments.

Deidre Einstein, CPA is a senior manager at CohnReznick where she has worked for over 20 years.  She is a member of the Transactions & Turnaround Advisory-Project Finance & Consulting team where she works with developers, lenders, investors and syndicators in real estate transactions involving low-income and/or historic credits.

Glenn Hopps

Glenn is an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of R4 Capital, overseeing more than $5 billion of multifamily equity and debt investments. He has over 30 years of experience in real estate finance and accounting, including more than a decade in senior financial management roles at LIHTC investment and development organizations. He was previously the CFO of the NHP Foundation, an affordable housing non-profit, as well as Senior Vice President at Centerline Capital Group where he was responsible for financial reporting for over $10 billion of LIHTC investor equity.

William F. Machen

Bill is a tax lawyer specializing in real estate syndication and partnership matters. He is
the author of two books dealing with low-income housing and historic rehabilitation tax credit
issues and received the 2015 Vision Award from the National Housing and Rehabilitation
Association for his contributions to affordable housing and community development. He has
represented syndicators, investors, and developers for almost 50 years in numerous transactions
involving the construction and/or rehabilitation of subsidized and conventionally financed
housing, office buildings, shopping centers, and sports stadiums. Bill currently is of counsel to
the law firm of Holland & Knight, LLP.

Russ has more than 3 years of private accounting and over 25 years of public accounting experience, providing client services in audit, accounting, tax, and management advisory services.  He has worked for national syndicators, commercial and residential real estate developers, management companies, and tax advantage multifamily affordable housing projects. Russ also has expertise in low-income housing and historic cost certifications, and related agreed-upon reporting.

Dave Raderman concentrates his practice in the areas of tax and business transactions, particularly tax sensitive real estate investments. His clients include both investors and developers of projects using federal and state affordable housing, new markets, renewable energy, and historic tax credits. Dave’s practice also involves tax planning and the structuring of real estate and general business transactions. He lectures on topics such as affordable housing tax credits, historic credits, and the Maryland limited liability company act. Dave has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2013 as a leading lawyer in tax law.

Anne has more than 30 years of experience in not-for-profit organization development, with expertise serving not-for-profit loan funds, membership and trade associations, charities, housing entities, philanthropic organizations, foundations, and other not-for-profit organizations. Anne has provided financial and compliance audits that include financial analysis, financial management reporting, re-engineering, and policy and procedures development, strategy, and has developed specialized compliance assurance procedures for significant and sensitive audit areas.

Sheila is David Reznick’s niece. She started her career with The Reznick Group as a Market Analyst and now leads Thompson Hine LLP’s public relations efforts as its Associate Director of Public Relations. As a trusted advisor to firm leadership, she develops and implements public relations strategies that support the firm’s strategic initiatives to align with the firm’s desired positioning. She has 20 years of experience which includes leading the communications departments of two leading Am Law 100 firms as well as working at a PR agency which represented Am Law 100 firms.

Ira Weinstein

Ira serves as CohnReznick’s Managing Principal of the Real Estate and Cannabis Industries, where he oversees the advisory, audit and tax services pertaining to both industries. Ira is also leading the effort to grow the firm’s dedication to ESG services on behalf of its people, clients and communities. Ira has historically worked in the community development practice supporting strategic and transactional activity among public-private partnerships that include the use of federal tax credits and other tools to support economic development.
