The David Reznick Foundation Announces 2025-2026 Bowie State University Scholarships

The David Reznick Foundation, which is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of affordable housing leaders, is proud to announce its Bowie State University scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. Both students–Kellen Jefferson and Braden Rodriguez–are majoring in Business Administration and have an Accounting Concentration, and will receive $5,000 each to support their studies this year.
Kellen is a senior with a 3.70 GPA.
He says of the scholarship: “Receiving the David Reznick Scholarship is very meaningful to me because it helps ease the financial burden of pursuing my education and allows me to focus more fully on my studies and academic goals. This support not only provides practical assistance, but also serves as encouragement to continue working hard and striving for excellence. Scholarships like this make a real difference in helping students stay on track and move closer to their long-term career aspirations. I am sincerely grateful to the donor for investing in my education and future.”
Braden is a junior with a 3.82 GPA.
He says of the scholarship: “I am very thankful to receive the David Reznick Scholarship. This support helps ease the financial burden of college and allows me to focus more fully on my studies as an accounting student. Knowing that I have this assistance encourages me to stay committed to my academic goals and continue putting my best effort into my coursework.
This scholarship gives me the opportunity to spend more time developing the knowledge and skills needed for a future career in accounting. I am truly grateful for the generosity behind this award and for the impact it is having on my education and future.”
The David Reznick Foundation first awarded scholarships to Bowie State students for the 2022-2023 academic year.
